Monday AMV- A tad early

I'm going to West Virginia for work (I know you're all jealous.) So I'm posting this a little early.

After all, the Monday AMV is the only running theme I've actually managed to stick to.

My friend at work is doing a research project on Palmistry. I had her look at my hand, and found out that due to my rectangular palms and short fingers, I have hands of FIRE!!!

Do you know what that means? I'm a Firebender! Hmmm, but which firebender...



Except without all the psychotic megalomania.

Sigh, I miss Avatar.

I really wanted to post a Day of the Black Sun AMV, but I couldn't find one that I liked.

But during that Avatar special, we finally learned what happened to Suki, who's alive (yeah!) but imprisoned and being tortured by Azula (oh Noes!)

So here's to our favorite Kyoshi warrior.



Also, the water tribe has the coolest armor in the Avatar world.

Friday Fun

For today we have an adorable Avatar Chibi short, Bending Battle.

I don't really like Toph's Chibi, but I love that she uses mountain ranges to create an outline of her face that you can see from space.

Avatar Summation

I dislike summing up entire tv episodes, so I'll just hit the highlights of Friday's all new Avatar.

Zuko and Mai totally hooked up. Was anyone else expecting kissing in the first five minutes? I wasn't.

Aang has hair. And it looks...wierd... I realize the arrow is supposed to come down his forehead to his face, but the way it's drawn makes him look like he has a receding hairline. Which is just bizarre on a kid.

Kataara faced her abandoment issues.

Azula remains fiendishly evil. And clever. Watching her play Zuko while manipulating fire kingdom politics to her advantage is a delight.

Sokka had the best lines. "Aang! Everyone thinks your dead. Isn't that great?!" I love Sokka. I also enjoyed his shouting at The Universe. "Thank you, The Universe."

Kataara had some great water bending moments, seperating ships with a whirlpool and creating an enormous fog bank for evasion purposes. I'm so glad that days of "Kataara hits people with her water whip" are done.

Toph can bend steel. This is awesome.

Friday Fun!!

And it is an especially awesome Friday, because tonight, at 8:30pm(ET), the new season of Avatar: The Last Airbender starts.

If I'd been thinking straight, I would've found an Avatar clip for our Friday Fun Video, but instead, I have some classic Monty Python.

Just pretend the vikings are all water benders.
