To truly remember why this is noteworthy, I recommended reading/watching Anne of Green Gables this weekend.
What's your favorite Anne moment? I'm torn between the smashing of the slate over Gil's enormous head and when she sunk her boat playing Lady of Shallot.

my favorite moment is when anne is sleeping over at diana's and they both race to the guest bed and surprise diana's great-aunt josephine.
Definitely the smashing of the slate over Gilbert's head!! But, it really needs to include the "Hey Carrots!!" part. That makes it awesome!!
Although, the romantic in me is telling me that the end of the movie is the best. Especially when Gil plays with a piece of Anne's hair and whispers, "Carrots." Talk about melting my heart!! Gilbert can call me carrots any time he wants as long as he looks at me like that!! =)
My sister is such the romatic. She has all the Anne dolls. My favorite moment is when she yells at Miss Stacey not to eat the pudding. "In the end I suppose it was a romatic way to go even for a mouse."
These ones are great! I'd forgotten about some of them. I definitely need to watch the movie again.

That was a good one too. Could you please call me Cordiella? Ever since BTVS that just conjures up different images, but it still is funny.
Oh!! I just thought of an awesome moment from "Anne"!! When Matthew buys Anne her puffed sleeves dress, and she shows Marilla the dress. "Twenty pounds of brown sugar!!" Classic!!
