You need to think like a Brit. If you need to go some way then go. Not in the grid pattern, but towards it.

How do you NOT get lost in DC? All those lanes.....
We were going to move to Silver Spring at one point. Checking out housing there was a fiasco at times. Same in New York when we were in Syracuse. I kept thinking, "Brother Brigham!!! Where were you when they were laying out these streets?!?!? Where are the grid-like patterns....the streets with ORGANIZED numbers.....
:) sigh
We would have been in big trouble if not for MapQwest.
That's why you need a GPS. Those things are life savers.
Except mine. It's onery, and it keeps trying to get me to drive through Anacostia at night.
It's trying to KILL me!!
